Overview
The Andaman Island lies in the Bay of Bengal between India. The Andaman is home to a number of animals. Most of the people in Andaman believe in a religion of Animism and other religions worship in Andaman is Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism and Christianity. The Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair connects Andaman to major cities like Kolkata and Chennai and Delhi, Bangalore and Bhubaneswar.

Best time to visit Andaman is between Months of October to May and from June to September is relatively heavy rainfall time.
Tourist Attractions

- Gandhi Park: It is anassortment of artificial creations and historical monuments with well-maintained gardens, restaurants and a lake. There is also Children's park, amusement park, water sports, lake, garden, restaurant etc. inside the park.
- Long Island: Long Island is connected by boat from Port Blair. The site is popular for sandy beach at Lalaji Bay which is approximately 5 km distance from jetty of Long Island. The island is a perfect destination for tourists. Here people walk or use bicycles.
- Fisheries Museum: More than 250marine species of marine life, live coral, sharks, polyps and Starfish can be found in Fisheries Museum.
- Anthropological Museum: The Anthropological Museum set up in the year 1975 shows tribal items like boats, weapons, baskets, clothing, photographs, and models. There is also an in-house library which provides in valuable reference to the indigenous Tribal culture of Andaman Island.
Water/ Adventure Sports

One can enjoy all water sports at Water Sports Complex. Try Sail boating, parasailing, water scooters, rowing boats, kayaks, paddle boats, water skiing and etc. There is also an artificial waterfall which is very popular among the visitors.
Beaches

- Elephant Beach: This beach is situated in Havelock Island where one can experience training of elephants and watch elephants swimming. Along with other adventure sports like scuba diving, snorkeling and sightseeing.
- Long Island Beach: Long Island is connected by boat from Port Blair situated at all most 80 km distance from Port Blair. The site is popular for sandy beach at Lalaji Bay which is approximately 5 km distance from jetty of Long Island. The island is a perfect destination for tourists. Here people walk or use bicycles.
- The Corbyn’s Cove Beach: It is a peaceful sandy beach, surrounded with lavish green coconut palms and pleasant blue sea. The main attractions of this beach are the water sports like surfing, scuba diving and boating. One can also enjoy sun bathing here.

Cuisine

Andaman offers great Indian Cuisine with variety from South Indian Food to North Indian Food. Andaman is famous for its spices like Cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. People of South India have migrated in Andaman long back and at the same time availability of coconut and fish has influenced South Indian cuisine more than North Indian cuisine in Andaman.
